Jukeboxing
about six years ago i starting buying a new sound that was coming out of Chicago. it was raw with skittery beats, big drums, casio tones and mangled samples. seems a new generation had adopted a style of competitive dancing known as footwork and this new sound, sometimes called juke, is what drove the dancers wild. this is my first foray into this new, underground, messed up and exciting evolution in electronic music; but it won’t be my last.
