dip into luv’s stream of consciousness; where music morphs into dialog that gets swallowed by sound, turns into song and weaves a tall tale about everything and nothing. it’s a trip.

Whither Canada?

for the 100th mix on my site i decided to try something completely different. as a life long Monty Python fan i have always been enthralled by how they segue from one obtuse sketch to the next. here i try to emulate that by using great music, weird spoken word segments and a healthy dose of silly bits. watch The Luv Of Music to witness the creation of this mix.

A Gringo Like Ennio

as a huge fan of Ennio Morricone I wanted to do a mix of his works, but where to start? the man has over 500 soundtracks under his belt that range the full gamut of film genres! i decided to present a luving mix of his famous spaghetti western scores. enjoy the inventive orchestrations, complex arrangements and often times bizarre instrumentation that have helped make some all time classics.
