when i started this site in 2010 i also launched a craft (affectionately known as the “satellite of luv”) into outer space to take photographs and record strange and wonderful sounds. we have been monitoring s.o.l.’s journey since, and recently we received a unique bit of audio. it seems the satellite of luv got sucked into a black hole. this is a recording of the event in it’s entirety.
