funk 'n' soul

Soulful Love

as the 200th mixtape for dj luv’s records this mix had to be something special. so i put together a mix of soulful love for my partner in life, without whom none of this would be possible. i would be crumpled up on the side of the road without her sweet understanding love. she’s the sunshine in our happy home and it’s simply beautiful. this is dedicated to the one i love.

Dust Devils Of Mars

dust devils are strong, well-formed and relatively long-lived whirlwinds that can get up to 10 meters wide and more than 1000 meters tall, on Earth. On Mars they are up to 50 times wider, 10 times higher and seem to have a life of their own. this is the kind of abstracted hip hop beatscapes they listen to.
