the balearic sound is hard to describe because it’s everything and nothing; it’s whatever you want it to be. balearic beat was birthed in Ibiza during the mid-eighties for well off vacationing party goers from all over the globe to lose their minds to as the sun rose on the beach. so it tends to be happy, eclectic, international, chill, danceable grooves full of positive vibes. it’s also kinda cheesy… or is it?
