Definitely A Juxtape

it was the year 2000. i was running hip hop in this town when word came down the wire that El-P from the amazing NYC crew Company Flow had started a new label called Def Jux (later changed to Definitive Jux due to legal entanglements with a similarly named hip hop label). what followed was a deluge of great new forward thinking hip hop joints containing a similar strain of darkness that matched the uncertainty of the new millennium. this 20th anniversary Juxtape contains only Def Jux heavy hitters spitting tongue twisters. Definitive Jux indeed.
